Sarah LaRocque is a clinician, field instructor, and PhD candidate in the Faculty of Social Work, University of Calgary. Sarah specializes in group work in private practice and is clinical director of a dialectical behaviour therapy program. She provides group training for mental health practitioners in psychoeducational, support, and process-oriented groups. She is past president of the Calgary Section of the Canadian Group Psychotherapy Association and has served as secretary on the national executive. She has published on group work and has developed a group training framework for use in field education, currently the subject of the dissertation.
